Apollo 13

I just watched Apollo 13 on TV and had to post a picture of the reentry vehicle. Notice the internal compartment has only essential electronics and a metal structure to protect the astronauts. It's really amazing to see how very little they had to accomplish their missions. I have only respect and admiration for our astronauts.

Barcelona

This picture was taken in Barcelona, Spain. You can see the pollution but also notice the bomb-like building towering the city-scape.

This picture was taken in the Alcazar Real in Spain (5/05). The color contrast attracted my eyes to the flowers. Since it turned out really clear, I decided to share it with everyone.

Can you believe this shot? The rain storm came pretty sudden. Millions of tiny water droplets pounded the ground. I looked out from my bedroom window and saw this cloud funnel forming in the Pacific Ocean- truly an amazing site. So I grabbed my camera, went out onto the balcony and took this shot (taken in Malibu).

Nature is a powerful force and I'm glad I bore witness to this unique occurence.

What can I say? I love this picture. You see the reflection of the trees on the lake and in the distance you see the Pacific Ocean. Where is this you might ask? Malibu, California...of course.

I'm not a photographer but you gotta admit...this photo is darn good. So good that I rate it as dawn-o-mite!
